Local Government Promotes Public Transport and Sustainable Mobility
The City Council has joined the European Mobility Week, taking place from September 16th to 22nd, with an awareness campaign aiming to encourage the use of public transport. Councilman Félix Romero introduced the initiative today alongside the area’s director general, Baldomero León, and Avanza’s representative, José Antonio Romero. He mentioned, ‘We have received explicit communication from the European Union recognizing Marbella as one of the cities promoting exemplary policies in this field, having implemented specific measures that contribute to making it more efficient, healthy, and environmentally friendly.’
