Local Government Introduces Innovative Grants to Support Individual and Pair Athletes
The City Council has opened the application period from today until September 5 for an innovative grant program to support individual and pair athletes in the city, endowed with 100,000 euros. The municipal spokesperson, Félix Romero, announced the measure after the Local Government Board meeting and emphasized that ‘the goal is to promote talent in this field and help cover the expenses related to competition,’ while the councilor in charge, Lisandro Vieytes, highlighted that ‘this is the first time that this specific fund is being made available through a competitive process.’
