Local Government Improving Electrical and Lighting Facilities along the Seafront Promenade

The City Council is set to carry out a comprehensive upgrade of the electrical installations and lighting efficiency of the public lighting along the stretch of the Seafront Promenade between Río Real and Río Verde, covering a total length of 9,540 meters. The aim of this intervention is to modernize the system by renewing deteriorated infrastructures and implementing a remote management system that allows for intelligent and continuous service control. The section targeted for improvement features various design typologies, including wooden walkways, areas with marble flooring, and gravel sections, and currently has LED technology luminaires. However, the circuits supplying the lighting are in poor condition, leading to frequent breakdowns, particularly during rainy periods, causing partial power outages and affecting the safety and use of the promenade at night.
