Local Government and Regional Council Highlight Investment Efforts in Education Sector
The local government and the Andalusian Regional Council have emphasized the investment efforts in the education sector following the complete rehabilitation of the Frasquita Larrea building, one of the five buildings that make up the CEIP Miguel Hernández. The Deputy Mayor of San Pedro Alcántara, Javier García, and the territorial delegate for Educational Development and Vocational Training, Miguel Briones, have inspected the completed works, which were funded with a budget of 279,000 euros from the regional government. The renovated space, located in the north-central area of the school compound, consists of a single symmetrical floor with two distinct wings and is topped by a four-sloped roof. It had to be closed due to various pathologies, such as cracks, fissures, and sinking of the interior pavements, among others.
