Construction Begins on San Pedro Alcántara Municipal School of Music and Dance
The City Council has started construction on the San Pedro Alcántara Municipal School of Music and Dance, which will be located on a plot of about 3,300 square meters in the Ensanche Sur area. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, visited the site today and expects the project to be completed by the end of 2027. The facility, with an investment of around 6.5 million euros, will be a modern, functional, and sustainable infrastructure that will meet the current and future needs of San Pedro and Nueva Andalucía. It will have a total built area of nearly 6,500 square meters, divided into specialized areas for music and dance instruction. Specifically, there will be 14 classrooms for music education, seven for dance, as well as multipurpose spaces and an auditorium with a capacity for 120 people.
