Award Ceremony Held for Fifth Edition of ‘Marpoética’ School Poetry Awards
The City Council has carried out today, at the Marbella City Theatre, the award ceremony for the fifth edition of the ‘Marpoética’ School Poetry Awards Festival, an initiative that has seen a total of 4,600 participants this year, the highest number since its inception, with the involvement of 18 educational centers in the municipality. Specifically, the following schools took part in the competition: Federico García Lorca, Antonio Machado, Juan Ramón Jiménez, Las Albarizas, Los Olivos, Miguel de Cervantes, Miguel Hernández, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Rafael Fernández Mayoralas, Santa Teresa, Valdeolletas, Vicente Aleixandre, Mario Vargas Llosa, Xarblanca, Monseñor Rodrigo Bocanegra, Platero, José Banús, and Francisco Echamendi, solidifying the progressive growth of the competition in terms of the number of participating schools and students.
