Educational Day for Fire Prevention at Nagüeles Park

Around 200 children participated in an educational and awareness day on the World Day for the Prevention of Forest Fires at Nagüeles Park. The event was organized for the second year in a row by Fuerte Nagüeles in collaboration with the municipal delegation of Citizen Security, Local Police, Firefighters, and Civil Protection. The aim was to teach children the importance of preserving the natural environment and promoting behaviors that help reduce the risk of fires in these areas. Councilor José Eduardo Díaz emphasized that fire prevention is not only the responsibility of emergency professionals but of the entire community. He highlighted that most of these incidents are caused by human actions and can be prevented with caution and necessary precautions when near forests.
