Marbella City Council Completes Comprehensive Renovation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Technification Center
Mayor Ángeles Muñoz visited today the works at the Specialized Center for Rhythmic Gymnastics Technification, a comprehensive renovation project completed by the City Council in terms of facilities, with final touches being made to the surroundings and equipment provision. The mayor emphasized the significance of the project, which involved an investment of nearly 1.5 million euros and will establish the city as an international benchmark for the practice and training of this sport. She highlighted Marbella’s strong ties to rhythmic gymnastics, a discipline with a rich tradition in the town, attracting gymnasts not only from Andalusia and Spain but also from various countries worldwide. Muñoz credited the intervention to the European Next Generation funds, in collaboration with the Andalusian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, stating that the outcome is truly spectacular.
