San Pedro Alcántara Hosts Sixth Edition of Municipal Beach Soccer Camp
The City Council is celebrating the sixth edition of the Municipal Beach Soccer Camp during the month of July. This free activity is aimed at children aged 5 to 16 and takes place at La Salida Beach, on the San Pedro Alcántara Promenade. The camp is organized in two fortnights, from July 1 to 15 and from July 16 to 30, with sessions from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00. Deputy Mayor Javier García explained that this initiative has become a staple in the summer program, emphasizing that apart from promoting healthy outdoor habits, the camp also serves to support work-life balance for families during school holidays. He also highlighted that it “encourages social interaction among participants and provides a healthy leisure alternative in a natural environment like the beach”.
