Marbella Recognizes Local Talent and Effort at the II Sports Awards
The City Council held the second edition of the Sports Awards at the Teatro Ciudad de Marbella on Thursday, recognizing the efforts, dedication, and achievements of local athletes, clubs, and entities. The event also paid tribute to prominent figures and highlighted the crucial role of families and the local sports community. The ceremony began with a special tribute to the late athlete Daniel Saborido, whose memory was honored throughout the event. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz emphasized that ‘his legacy remains in every applause and every step taken by sports in our city.’
