Marbella’s Urban Allotments Thrive as a Social Hub with Nearly 100 Users
Marbella’s urban allotments have become a space for community, sustainable leisure, and communal cultivation after more than a decade of operation, with close to a hundred users. The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, praised the project’s trajectory and the dedication of its users, highlighting the effort of those who have been driving this initiative for about 15 years. The management of the facilities, provided by the City Council, is overseen by the non-profit association Huertos Marbella Verde, which regulates access based on criteria such as residency.
