Marpoética Poetry Event Fills University Hospital Costa del Sol with Verses
The ninth edition of Marpoética aims to bring poetry out of the margins of books and into all spaces of the city. After strolling through the mountains with the ‘Poetic Path’ and the sea with ‘Fishing for Verses,’ this Wednesday it arrived at the University Hospital Costa del Sol, where poets Basilio Sánchez, winner of a Loewe Prize, and Agustín Pérez Leal, Manuel Alcántara Poetry Prize winner, offered a recital to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. An emotional experience that momentarily broke the hospital routine, often filled with uncertainties, to fill it with verses.
