Marbella City Council Approves Transfer of Municipal Building to National Police in San Pedro Alcántara
During the ordinary council session in March, Marbella City Council approved the transfer of a municipal building located on Marqués del Duero Avenue in the center of San Pedro Alcántara to the Ministry of the Interior for use by the National Police. The new space will allow for the relocation of services such as ID and passport issuance, the Complaints Office, and Citizen Assistance. Municipal spokesperson Félix Romero explained that the decision aims to provide San Pedro with facilities better suited to its population and activities. The building, previously housing the Municipal Tourist Office, is centrally located with high pedestrian traffic, fully accessible, and equipped with modern infrastructure including water, electricity, and fiber optics.
