Marbella City Council and Andalusian Government Promote ‘Healthy Walks’ to Encourage Healthy Lifestyles
Marbella City Council, through the Health department, has launched the ‘Healthy Walks’ initiative, a program aimed at promoting physical activity, emotional well-being, and self-care among the population, coinciding with the arrival of spring. This proposal, organized in collaboration with the health centers of Leganitos, Las Albarizas, and Ricardo Soriano, offers a series of accessible routes tailored to all audiences, with the goal of encouraging a more active and health-conscious population. Councilor Alejandro González emphasized that ‘these types of actions are essential to bring healthy habits closer to the population in a simple and participatory way, taking advantage of Marbella’s natural and urban spaces.’ He also encouraged residents to ‘join these walks, which combine exercise, socializing, and health learning.’
