Local Coordination Meeting Addresses Gender Violence
The City Council held a new meeting of the Local Coordination and Monitoring Table against Gender Violence today, bringing together various administrations and institutions involved in the prevention, care, and protection of victims. During the meeting, the activity data of the Equality delegation since the last session in November were presented, and the objectives of the different programs in this area were discussed. The councilor, Isabel Cintado, stated that 1,269 consultations were recorded during this period, with 74 women being attended to for the first time, with February having the highest number of new attentions. ‘This meeting is essential because it allows us to work in a coordinated manner, share updated information, and continue to improve all actions carried out in this field,’ she said.
