Marbella Revamps Coastal Image with Artistic Transformation of 19 Lifeguard Towers
The City Council has launched an artistic renewal of the 19 lifeguard and rescue towers in the municipality, as part of the municipal strategy for the continuous improvement of the coast and strengthening the city’s visual identity. The councilor in charge, Diego López, explained that the intervention includes the individualized design of each of the towers located in the municipal area, incorporating a contemporary aesthetic proposal that interacts with the Mediterranean environment and the unique landscape of Marbella. ‘The goal is for these essential infrastructures, which guarantee the safety of bathers, to harmoniously integrate into the coastal landscape and help project a modern and well-maintained image of the municipality,’ he pointed out.
