New Andalucía Multipurpose Space to Host II Provincial Youth Chess Championship

The New Andalucía Multipurpose Space will host this Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1, the Provincial Youth Chess Championship with the participation of around 200 players in categories from Under 8 to Under 16, from 19 clubs in Malaga. The Sports Councillor, Lisandro Vieytes, emphasized during the event presentation today that ‘Marbella is a city that is strongly supporting this discipline’ and highlighted that ‘our municipality once again positions itself as the epicenter of provincial chess, hosting for the second consecutive year a competition that brings together the future of this sport’. Vieytes thanked the collaboration of the Nueva Andalucía Councillor, Vanessa Ortiz, for the facilities, as well as the President of the Andalusian Federation, Alberto Loriente, for once again trusting the municipality as the venue for this event.
