Antonio Serrano Lima Complex Emerges as Premier Venue for Sports Events Following Comprehensive Renovation of Indoor Pool
Today, Mayor Ángeles Muñoz visited the Antonio Serrano Lima Sports Complex, which has been hosting the 16th edition of the European Water Polo Tournament ‘Tewam 2026’ since last Friday. The event has brought together 12 youth teams and 120 participants from various European countries, enhancing the city’s reputation as a host for international sporting competitions. The mayor highlighted that the full renovation of the indoor pool has enabled it to meet the necessary standards for official competitions, solidifying the complex’s status as a leading venue for hosting events. The focus is on providing modern, accessible facilities ready for the future, capable of catering to both daily practices and major events.
