Marbella Becomes Spain’s Top Tourist Destination with ‘China Friendly’ Campaign Based on Artificial Intelligence

Marbella will be the first destination in Spain to have a digital promotion campaign targeted specifically at the Chinese market, developed under the ‘China Friendly’ label and based on artificial intelligence. The initiative, driven by iUrban in collaboration with Huawei, will position the municipality in a high-value segment through free visibility actions in the tech company’s digital ecosystem in China, according to Mayor Ángeles Muñoz. The city was chosen for its strong commitment to innovation and language accessibility, demonstrated by the implementation of multilingual tourist offices and the future adaptation of other channels for Chinese travelers, such as the municipal website, mobile applications, digital signage, and conversational AI assistants.
