Marbella TodoDanza Festival Presents ‘El número impar’ by Lucía Vázquez at the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving

The Marbella TodoDanza Festival will bring tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, to the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving an experimental solo performance by the dancer and choreographer Lucía Vázquez, with live music by Miguel Ángel Árbol. The show, scheduled for 19:00, delves into Japanese culture and its characteristic sensitivity, addressing the theme of ‘seeing’ and its various forms. The piece explores the connection between the gaze and the object observed, blurring the boundaries between the subject contemplating and the object contemplated. Through a minimalist and highly sensitive choreographic language, the performance immerses the audience in a sensory journey where vision is not only a physical act but also an emotional and symbolic experience. It is part of the ‘Dance in the Museum’ series, dedicated to the Vilató family’s collection of engravings housed in this cultural facility.
