Sport and Tradition Join Forces at the First Edition of Tostón 2025 Popular Race
Sport and tradition will come together at the first edition of the Tostón 2025 Popular Race, an event organized by the City Council to be held on Saturday, November 1. The race, starting at 11:00 a.m. from the Parque del Mediterráneo and finishing at the Parque de Nagüeles, will cover an approximate distance of 8 kilometers. Councilman Lisandro Vieytes has presented the initiative, explaining that registrations for participants over 14 years old are free for a maximum of 300 participants. “It is born with the intention of establishing itself in the coming years as a key event that helps keep alive the Tostón Day, one of our most beloved local traditions,” the councilman said, also emphasizing the importance of promoting healthy habits among the community and fostering interaction between residents and visitors.
