Municipality Improves Accessibility and Eliminates Architectural Barriers on Carlomagno Street

The municipality has started a project on Carlomagno Street, in the La Patera neighborhood, to enhance accessibility and remove existing architectural barriers. The intervention includes upgrading sidewalks, the road surface, and the lighting system with LED installation. Specifically, two new sidewalks will be constructed, one to the north of the road with efficient lighting and another to the south for pedestrians to transit more comfortably and safely. The main goals of the project are to eliminate obstacles that hinder pedestrian traffic, especially misaligned manholes that pose safety risks, and to modernize public lighting with a more efficient system.
