Marbella Prepares Beaches for Easter with Large Team and Machinery

The Marbella City Council is working on getting the city’s beaches ready for Easter with a team of 67 workers and about twenty machines. The councilor responsible for this area, Diego López, visited the ongoing work at El Cable today, explaining that activities include reshaping, removing tons of reeds and algae, and installing new equipment. The councilor emphasized the need for continuous and sustainable sand contributions from the central government and highlighted the impact of recent storms on beaches like Casablanca, Fontanilla, Alicate, and others. The city is investing approximately 4 million euros annually in these efforts.
