Thousands of Secondary Students in Marbella Join Together to Recite Poetry at Marpoética’s Kickoff

This morning, the verses of poet José Emilio Pacheco echoed in the classrooms of secondary schools in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara. Eight thousand students participated in the simultaneous reading of his poem ‘Indeseable,’ marking the start of the eighth edition of the Marpoética festival, running until April 5. Activities included reading poems by other authors like Antonio Machado and Luis Cernuda.
