Special Cleaning Operation Deployed by City Council to Address Storm Effects

The City Council has activated a special cleaning and security operation in all districts of the city with over 60 workers and around twenty sweepers to mitigate the effects of Storm Francis, which brought strong winds prompting a weather warning yesterday. Councilman Diego López stated that municipal services have been working intensively since 6:00 a.m. on the streets to remove debris and waste blown by the wind, ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles, and restore normality as soon as possible.
