Performance of Shakespeare’s ‘Coriolanus’ at Marbella City Theater
Marbella City Theater will host the performance of William Shakespeare’s play ‘Coriolanus’ this Saturday, November 15th. The show will start at 8:00 PM and features Marbella actress Beatriz Melgares among the cast. Other actors include Roberto Enríquez, Carmen Conesa, Álex Barahona, María Ordóñez, Javier Lara, Santiago Molero, Juan Díaz, Juan Morón, and Antonio Simón (director). ‘Coriolanus’ is set in Rome at the beginning of the Republic, portraying the social conflict between the ruling class (patricians) and the common people (plebeians) amidst a war with the Volscians. The play follows the noble warrior Caius Marcius, later known as Coriolanus, praised for his valor and courage.
