Over 150 Senior Citizens to Enjoy Christmas Lights in City’s Annual Festivity Walk

More than 150 senior citizens will stroll through the city’s Christmas lights on December 17th in the eighth edition of the charitable initiative ‘Walk of Hope Taxi Light’. The event is organized by the City Council and the Taxi Solidarity Association in collaboration with Marbella Volunteer, Solidary Needle, Red Cross, and Gamonal Restaurant. The Councilor for Festivities, Yolanda Marín, and the Councilor for Social Rights, Isabel Cintado, have presented this event, which will involve around fifty cars, and have expressed gratitude for the collaboration of all the entities and individuals involved ‘who help this activity grow in scope and attendance each year.’ ‘The objective is to bring happiness and companionship to this group, especially during a time when many do not have their families close by,’ they pointed out.
