New Parking Facility Opens in San Pedro Alcántara to Address Local Demands
San Pedro Alcántara now has a new parking facility located between Fuentenueva Street, Ángel Carmona ‘El Piyayo’ Street, and Oriental Avenue. The facility offers a hundred parking spaces on a 4,000 square meter plot to meet the demands of the local residents. The deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, highlighted the addition of an 820 square meter perimeter sidewalk, which enhances pedestrian mobility and accessibility. The parking area consists of 102 spaces, including three for disabled parking and a section for motorcycles. Previously, the area was uneven terrain used for parking, leading to abandoned vehicles and waste dumping.
