Municipality Supports Events in Honor of the Virgin of El Rocío
Today, the Municipality has endorsed the events in honor of the Virgin of El Rocío, which will culminate on August 14 with a procession through the streets of San Pedro Alcántara. The deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, accompanied the pre-brotherhood in presenting the program and emphasized the group’s long-standing commitment to defending and promoting local devotion and traditions. This event has become a well-established date on our festive calendar, with the Virgin’s image on display all day for veneration by the faithful, followed by an emotional nighttime procession through the center, including a special moment meeting our patron, San Pedro de Alcántara, at his parish church.
