Municipality Prioritizes License for Construction of 172 Affordable Rental Homes in San Pedro Alcántara
During today’s Local Government Board meeting, held at the Multipurpose Center in Nueva Andalucía and chaired by Mayor Ángeles Muñoz, the approval was given to prioritize the granting of a construction license for 172 affordable rental homes in San Pedro Alcántara. The mayor highlighted that this is the first time a private developer has requested to carry out such a project in the city, with the properties to be built on a private plot south of San Pedro. Previously, homes with capped rental prices were not attractive to developers, making it challenging to obtain permits for this type of development, Muñoz explained.
