Municipality Beautifies Garden Areas in Salvador Allende and Simón Bolívar Passages

The Municipality has carried out a comprehensive improvement and beautification of the garden areas in the Salvador Allende and Simón Bolívar passages. The Councilor of Parks and Gardens, Diego López, highlighted that the intervention is part of their commitment to the revitalization and maintenance of public spaces in the municipality. The project included the complete removal of existing vegetation in the planters of both passages, which were in a very deteriorated state with little vegetative coverage. The work is guided by a city vision based on a cohesive urban policy that aims for the harmonious integration of aesthetic, functional, social, and environmental criteria. New low-maintenance shrub species have been planted not only for their ornamental value but also for their adaptability to the urban environment and their capacity to improve the microclimate of the area.
