Municipal management increases City Council’s assets by 154 million euros in nine years

Municipal management has led to an increase in the value of the City Council’s assets by 154 million euros in the past nine years. The government spokesperson, Félix Romero, highlighted this today during the ordinary session where the Consolidated General Inventory of Assets and Rights as of December 31, 2024 was approved, rising from 517 million in 2015, the first year of a complete registry, to the current 671 million. “It is our obligation to have this reliable and well-structured document because we are managers of assets that belong to each and every citizen,” stressed Romero, who recalled that “during a period of over 15 years when there was no government in the city, but an institutionalized corruption scheme, this was not taken into account, and there was no record of any assets.”
