Mayor praises Andalusian Government’s commitment to modern Justice City in Marbella

Mayor Ángeles Muñoz has highlighted the Andalusian Government’s commitment to ensuring that Marbella has a “modern, functional, and expandable” Justice City. The mayor presented the legal operators today alongside the councilor, José Antonio Nieto, the implementation study of this large-scale project, which will be a benchmark in sustainability by combining avant-garde architectural design with its integration into the landscape, overcoming the uneven terrain with a stepped, accessible, functional, and efficient building with views of the city and the sea. Muñoz has thanked the regional administration for their “good disposition” in understanding the needs of the municipality in making this much-needed facility a reality. She also mentioned that the City Council “ceded the La Torrecilla plot, covering nearly 12,300 square meters, for this infrastructure” and emphasized that they also drafted the access project. Furthermore, she stated that “we hope to receive the Roads report soon to proceed with the tender and start the construction” and added that “we have a budget allocation for 2026.”
