Mayor highlights enhanced healthcare for over 12,500 residents of Las Chapas with opening of new health center
The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, emphasized today that the new health center in Las Chapas, inaugurated with her presence and that of the regional councilor, Rocío Hernández, ‘strengthens healthcare in the municipality, allowing for the care of over 12,500 residents in these facilities.’ The infrastructure, with a total investment of 1.4 million euros, covers an area of 527 square meters, five times larger than the previous facility and includes 12 consultation rooms, a meeting room, administrative offices, and a specific health protection space. Initially, the facility will operate with a team of family doctors, nurses, pediatricians, and administrative staff, with new professionals to be added soon, expanding the healthcare capacity with the inclusion of an occupational therapist and midwife.
