Marpoética Festival to kick off tomorrow with a simultaneous reading at schools in Marbella
Students from various schools in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara will be responsible for welcoming the eighth edition of the Marpoética Festival tomorrow. Starting at 12:00 on Friday, March 28, young people will interrupt their classes to participate in a simultaneous poetry reading. In most high schools in the city, the poem ‘Indeseable’ by Mexican writer José Emilio Pacheco will be heard in unison, setting the stage for a festival that will bring some of the most renowned voices in national and international arts and literature to the city until April 5.
