Marbella’s Hotel Sector Invests Millions in Renovations

The Urban Planning Councilor, José Eduardo Díaz, highlighted the hotel sector’s commitment to investing in Marbella during a visit to the Meliá hotel in Puerto Banús. The hotel recently reopened after a €20 million renovation, contributing to the €300 million invested in the municipality since 2022. The renovation created new jobs, almost doubling the workforce from 180 to nearly 300 employees. The collaboration between the municipality and Meliá was emphasized, resulting in significant investments per room.
