Marbella Welcomes 6,300 Participants to Ironman 70.3 World Championship with Nations Parade at Puerto Banús
Today, Marbella officially welcomed over 6,300 triathletes who will participate in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship on November 8 and 9. The welcome event, known as the Nations Parade, started at Antonio Banderas Square and ended at Puerto Banús beach, with athletes from 143 countries taking part. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz attended the event and emphasized the honor of hosting such a special international sports event. She stated that the championship not only fills the city with pride but also solidifies Marbella’s position as a host for major international events and a global destination.
