Marbella TodoDanza Festival Kicks Off ‘Dancing for Peace’ Cycle

The ‘Dancing for Peace’ cycle of the Marbella TodoDanza Festival will kick off this Sunday, October 5th, with performances at the Paseo de la Alameda and the Avenida del Mar. The initiative aims to make dance a tool for social reflection, inviting audiences to enjoy movement arts in a spontaneous and intimate way. The first event will feature Sara Jiménez with the piece ‘Ave de Plata’ at 6:30 pm in the Alameda, blending flamenco, dance, and contemporary music to explore life, death, and love. Following that, Ana F. Melero and Luna Sánchez will present ‘Pies de Gallina’ at 7:00 pm on the Avenida del Mar, delving into the connection between two women and questioning the boundaries between reason and sensitivity. The program, themed ‘We will dance for peace, we will dance on the streets’, will continue with new performances on October 29th and November 5th, also featuring participation from students of the Marbella Municipal School of Music and Dance.
