Marbella to Host Second Edition of May Crosses Contest from May 1 to 18
Marbella will host the second edition of the May Crosses Contest from May 1 to 18, where associations, brotherhoods, fraternities, and local entities will participate once again. The councilor in charge, Enrique Rodríguez, presented the event today and stated that ‘the main objective is to recognize one of the most beautiful and deeply rooted traditions of Andalusia, an event that beautifies the corners of our city every spring and strengthens the bond among neighbors.’ The councilor emphasized that ‘we aim to keep alive a cultural expression that is also an example of coexistence, collaboration, and social involvement,’ while thanking the commitment of the groups ‘that with their efforts make it possible for this proposal to continue growing year after year.’
