Marbella will host the Copa del Rey and Copa de la Reina beach volleyball tournament for the first time in Andalucía in 2025. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, emphasized that the championship will take place at the public facilities of Parque del Mediterráneo, spanning 80,000 square meters, from May 29 to June 1. The event is expected to have a significant media and promotional impact, with coverage on TVE’s Teledeporte channel and in renowned sports outlets such as Marca and AS. Marbella is well-equipped with suitable climate, facilities, a growing number of beach volleyball practitioners, and a strong tradition in the sport, ensuring the tournament’s success.
