Marbella strengthens commitment to grassroots sports with the second edition of Campus Carlos Cabezas
Marbella is reinforcing its commitment to grassroots sports with the second edition of Campus Carlos Cabezas, which will take place from July 6 to 11 at the pavilion named after the former player. The councilor of the area, Lisandro Vieytes, presented this initiative alongside the athlete, aimed at youths aged 7 to 18. This year, there will be improvements in the facilities, doubling its capacity after ongoing renovations. Additionally, there will be an increase in sports scholarships, from 12 to 20 free spots for young athletes from local clubs. The councilor highlighted Cabezas as ‘an international ambassador for the city in the basketball world’ and thanked him for ‘continuing to share his experience with the youth.’
