Marbella Sees Nearly 4,000 Moraga Reservations During the 2026 Beach Season

The City Council has recorded a total of 3,947 moraga reservations on the beaches of the municipality during 2026, according to data counted until October 1. These figures highlight the high utilization of this service by residents and visitors. Reservations are distributed among the four designated areas: Marbella, San Pedro Alcántara, La Víbora, and Nueva Andalucía. San Pedro Alcántara leads in the number of requests with 1,886 reservations, representing 47.78% of the total, followed by Marbella with 1,770, accounting for 44.84%. Las Chapas has 154 reservations, and Nueva Andalucía has 137. The data also show a significant concentration of demand during the central months of the summer season. August had the highest activity with 1,260 reservations, followed by June with 741, September with 677, July with 639, and May with 539.
