Marbella Receives the ‘Q 2026’ Award for its Commitment to Quality and Tourism Sustainability

The Marbella City Council has been honored with one of the ‘Q 2026’ Awards granted by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality and Sustainability (ICTES), in recognition of its efforts in these areas. According to the organization, the city is establishing itself as a national benchmark, being the Spanish locality with the most public certifications, with a total of 19 beaches holding the Q for Quality and the S for Tourism Sustainability, in addition to the Sierra Blanca Trails network, which has also received both distinctions. Furthermore, it holds the Intelligent Tourist Destination (DTI) seal certified with the Q for Tourism Quality, ‘reinforcing its positioning as an innovative, sustainable, and excellence-oriented destination for visitor experience,’ as noted by the institution.
