Marbella Hosts Spanish National Chess Championship for Fourth Consecutive Year
Marbella will once again be at the forefront of national chess with the hosting, for the fourth consecutive year, of the Spanish National Chess Championship, taking place from December 11 to 19 at the Hotel Alanda. The Sports Councillor, Lisandro Vieytes, presented the event today alongside representatives from the Spanish, Andalusian, and Malaga federations, emphasizing the economic and media impact it will have on the city. The councillor highlighted that for over a week, the municipality will gather ‘the best players in the country, as well as international grandmasters and young talents who represent the future of this discipline.’
