Marbella exceeds 83,000 Social Security affiliations for the first time in June
Marbella has set a new record in employment by registering 83,431 Social Security affiliations in June, the highest number for this month since records began in 2003. This represents an increase of 1,447 contributors compared to May, a 1.76 percent rise, reflecting the strength of the local labor market and consolidating the upward trend that began earlier this year, according to labor advisor Alejandro Freijo. The number of self-employed individuals reached 15,195, the second-highest figure in history, surpassed only by the peak reached in May (15,233), highlighting the entrepreneurial dynamism of the municipality.
