Marbella Enhances Beach Maintenance with New Conservation and Cleaning Plan
Marbella is strengthening the maintenance of its beaches with a new conservation and cleaning plan that includes year-round stable services and emergency actions. The plan will last for three years, extendable for two more. The councilor, Diego López, emphasized that the goal is to ensure a coastline in optimal conditions, with more staff, advanced machinery, and innovative improvements to establish the city as a sustainable tourist destination. The contractor will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and replacement of all municipal elements related to beach use, as well as the cleaning of toilets, showers, lifeguard modules, surveillance towers, signage, trash cans, and green areas. Additionally, they will take care of the conservation of dune areas, the Marbella Dunes Ecological Reserve, and the Artola Natural Monument.
