The City Council commemorated International Trans Visibility Day today with an institutional event held at the Cortijo Miraflores Cultural Center. This time, tribute was paid to the work of Antonia Figueredo Ravira, a psychologist at the Quirón Hospital in Marbella and head of the sexology department at Avatar Psychologists, awarding her the ‘T for Trans’ recognition for her outstanding career of supporting trans individuals. The event, attended by the councilor for Equality and Diversity, Isabel Cintado, included the reading of a manifesto in support of the community’s visibility by Figueredo herself and with the intervention of María José Márquez as a representative of the Chrysallis association.
