Marbella City Hall Invested Nearly One Million Euros in River and Stream Cleaning in 2025
Throughout 2025, the Marbella City Hall, through the Department of Environment, carried out a continuous program of cleaning and maintenance of rivers and streams in the municipality. With an investment close to a million euros, the project covered an area of over 40 hectares, equivalent to about 56 football fields. Councilor Diego López emphasized the effectiveness of these preventive works, especially during the recent storm ‘Francis’, which brought heavy rains to much of the province of Málaga.
