Marbella City Council Secures Nearly 12 Million Euros in European Funds for Urban Regeneration and Social Transformation Projects

The Marbella City Council has secured 11,948,905 euros from the European Union for urban regeneration and social transformation projects in Marbella, San Pedro Alcántara, and Nueva Andalucía. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz announced today that the city was highly rated and received the maximum amount in a nationwide competition, demonstrating the strength of the proposed project. She emphasized that obtaining this funding is a great opportunity to implement key initiatives for a more modern, inclusive, and sustainable Marbella. Muñoz also highlighted the successful completion of 99% of the previous Edusi fund projects, totaling nearly 15 million euros, which enhanced Europe’s confidence in the municipality as an efficient and reliable administration.
