Marbella City Council Enhances Security and Accessibility in Marble Staircase at Arturo Rubinstein Street

The City Council has launched a comprehensive improvement project on one of the main staircases providing access to the Promenade, located on Arturo Rubinstein Street in the West district. The aim is to enhance infrastructure security, prevent water leaks, and optimize accessibility for residents and visitors. The Works Councillor, Diego López, emphasized the necessity of this intervention due to the staircase’s deterioration in both steps and drainage system. “It was an infrastructure with many years of use that required a series of repairs,” he noted. Through this project, we renewed the access points, installed drains to properly channel rainwater to the sewer system, and removed planters that promoted dampness. This was done to ensure structural stability and safety in the area.
